Larko Guard

Catch store rejections before Apple or Google review

A rejected build costs 2 to 5 days of lost release momentum. Larko scans metadata against official platform policies and gives 1-click deterministic fixes.

Cross-Store Asymmetry

One app — two completely different ranking algorithms

Google indexes roughly 25.7× more copy than Apple does. Copying your Play description into App Store Connect wastes 4,000 characters on a field Apple never reads for search.

Google has no hidden keyword field — all organic ranking comes from visible description copy.

Larko evaluates each store by its own unique algorithm, eliminating keyword cannibalization and blind spots.

Apple puts 65% of App Store downloads as starting in search — its own published figure. Most people search for a solution or a category ('habit tracker'), not a brand name.

Ranking gets you seen; the first three screenshots close the install. Most people decide inside the search results, without ever opening the page.

Larko optimizes all 3 stages end-to-end, independently per store. Most tools only score surface words and leave conversion blind.

Studio Portfolio

One listing is a task. A portfolio is a system.

When you manage 3 to 15 apps, ASO quickly turns into chaos: every release multiplies across two stores. Larko was built to monitor and sync both platforms in a unified interface.

Larko is engineered by DriveCode, a mobile Flutter development studio. Every app we launch lives simultaneously on the App Store and Google Play — exactly the daily workflow this platform solves.

We tested the platform on our own listings first and openly display our weakest scores. When a product is built to solve our own operational pains, there is zero fluff or artificial metrics.

Questions

The things worth asking first

Where does the data come from?
Apple's official iTunes Search and Lookup APIs, and Google Play's public listing pages. That is the whole list. We do not have keyword search volume — not from Apple's Search Ads API, not from a panel, not from anywhere — because we have not built that integration yet. When we do, this answer will change before the feature ships, not after.
Does the storefront I pick matter?
More than almost anything else. Both stores are per-country: an app published only in Ukraine is invisible to a US search, and its title is often localised too, so searching the wrong market returns somebody else's app rather than nothing. We cover 173 App Store storefronts — the list was built by asking Apple which regions actually respond, not by copying one.
What does it cost?
The checker is free and unlimited, with no account. That is deliberate: a deterministic check costs us a fetch and some arithmetic, so throttling it would only throttle the thing that earns us traffic. Metering will exist on the operations that cost real money — AI generation, which is not switched on yet — and we'll price those once we know anyone wants them.
Why does an 88 show a B?
Because a blocker or a critical finding holds the grade down. The score is a completeness measurement and we never touch it — if the arithmetic says 88, it says 88. But a listing that cannot publish as written does not earn an A for tidy metadata, so a blocker caps the grade at C and a critical finding caps it at B. The report always says which one did it.
Why do you label numbers as estimates?
Because they are. Neither store publishes raw search volume, so every figure in this category is modelled. Most tools present those models as fact. We attach the source, the retrieval date and a confidence level to every one, so you can judge it. In October 2025 Apple rescaled its popularity index by about 77% overnight and broke every ASO dashboard at once — that is exactly why provenance matters.
Do you actually support Google Play, or is it iOS with Android bolted on?
Both, at equal depth, and with different scoring rules for each — because the stores index different fields. Android is where the gap is: the closest competitor doesn't cover Play at all, and Play's 4,000-character indexed description is the largest unautomated surface in ASO.
Can Larko guarantee my app won't be rejected?
No, and anything that claims otherwise is lying. Guard catches what the published policies explicitly name — character limits, banned terms, emoji in Play titles, rival platforms in Apple metadata. It cannot predict a reviewer's judgement call. We deliberately keep the blocker list narrow and cited, because a false "you'll be rejected" costs more trust than a missed one.
Does an AI decide my score?
Not the numbers. Character counts, the Apple keyword field's 100-byte limit, banned words, screenshot counts and rating thresholds are computed in code — a model is never asked to count. AI handles judgement and writing, on top of arithmetic that is already correct.
